I am a passionate, self-employed Interior Designer.
I would describe my style as soft and serene, with a sophisticated and luxurious flair. I am mostly inspired by contemporary and Scandinavian style interiors. I love to infuse sumptuous fabrics, natural materials and pastel tones (I do also love a dark scheme though)
I value the importance of collaboration and always strive to understand my clients' visions. It is important to me to understand the aesthetic aspects but also prioritise functionality and practicality. I believe that a well-designed space should seamlessly blend beauty and functionality to create a harmonious balance that enhances everyday living.
Thank you so much for visiting Velvet Bloom Interiors. This little design studio emerged from the midst of the uncertain times brought about by the 2020 pandemic. It was during this pause in my otherwise busy lifestyle that I found the time, clarity and focus needed to build my dream to work for myself.
Interior design has been my lifelong passion and has guided me to spend my young adult life studying the trade. After pursuing a degree in Interior Design, I now have a decade of industry experience. I have had the opportunity to work in various sectors including kitchen design, residential interior design and project management. It was during my time at Laura Ashley Ltd, that I discovered my true calling in residential design. I thrive on collaborative work with my clients and relish the challenge of tailoring my style to suit individual personalities.
Today, I am proud to have established a business and run Velvet Bloom Interiors from my home office, where I can fully dedicate myself to bringing your design visions to fruition. I understand the importance of truly understanding my clients' needs and desires, and I work tirelessly to create spaces that exceed expectations.
