I’m the founder of Velvet Bloom, an interior design studio specialising in creating homes that feel both beautiful and lived-in.

My style is soft and serene, rooted in a modern country aesthetic but refined with contemporary shapes and clean lines. I love to use natural materials, layered textures, and timeless palettes that bring warmth and character, while keeping designs minimal and uncluttered. The result is interiors that feel calm and welcoming, yet polished and stylish — whether it’s a cosy period property or a modern new build.

I take a holistic approach to interiors, designing with wellbeing in mind. For me, a home should not only look wonderful but also feel balanced, nurturing, and supportive of everyday life.

I believe good design is as much about function as it is about style. I work closely with clients to understand how they live, ensuring every space enhances both their lifestyle and their sense of comfort.

Thank you so much for visiting Velvet Bloom Interiors. This little design studio emerged during the uncertain times of the 2020 pandemic. It was during this pause in my otherwise busy life that I found the clarity and focus needed to turn my dream of working for myself into reality.

Interior design has been my lifelong passion, guiding me to spend my young adult years studying the trade. After earning my degree in Interior Design, I now have over a decade of industry experience, spanning kitchen design, residential interiors, and project management. During my time at Laura Ashley Ltd, I discovered my true calling in residential design. I thrive on collaborating with clients, taking an intuitive approach to understand their personalities, lifestyles, and aspirations, which allows me to create homes that feel authentic, harmonious, and deeply personal.

Today, I am proud to run Velvet Bloom Interiors from my home studio, dedicating my energy to crafting spaces that blend beauty, functionality, and wellbeing. Each project is an opportunity to translate a client’s vision into a home that is both welcoming and inspiring.
